                    That is extremely worrisome to be honest. I will absolutely be paying more attention to my furry friends even more so. Thank you for sharing, I am going to post this on my Facebook. I would be interested to know whether this is in fact anything related to bacteria or not.

                    MrsH has just read a report on Bookface , that an incidence of this "Alabama rot" variant has killed a dog after exercising on the Rivington Pike moors, between Bolton and Blackburn. This is very close to me now .
                    How do you guard against it ?
                    What are the first signs to look out for ?
                    What is it - is it a tic or similar ?

                    Not heard anything on the fatal dog disease "Alabama Rot " for quite a while ?
                    Has anyone any updates on this ? Has it faded away or is it only prevalent in winter ?
