    Hi Carolla [IMG]

Now this is my area :D

Firstly have you taken your Yorkie to the Vets to check teeth and gums?

Has your Yorkie shown signs of a stomach upset?

    Have it's motions changed?

If the answer to these is:

    Yes
    No
    No

Parsley is brilliant as a breath buster, some dogs love it others don't. If yours is of the latter try Bonio Breath Buster Biccies or anything of the same ilk.

If your Yorkie doesn't like those either then bounce on back and i will come up with something else :D

You could try making your own biscuits (if you dog doesn't have a wheat intolerance), recipe is:

    2 cups wholemeal flour
    1 cup vedge oil
    1 tspn garlic powder
    1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 cup grated low fat hard cheese

Mix together and make into small nuggetts
put in oven on tray at 200 for 20 mins or until hard

    cool, and feed as treats

Alternatively you could try Nutrident toothbrush chews, these are very good and consist largly of potatoe starch as the base ingredient. You can see them on the net or any good pet store.

They are green and look like toothbrushes, come in small/Med/Large

    Gogs, no problem,

Everything bar the cheese and parsley are the base so you can add stuff your dog really likes to swap it about a bit.

All the free advice i get on here - i call it a good trade :D love helping people out with their animals [IMG]
