Hi all, I know before on here it's been mentioned about ramps for dogs to get in and out of cars.

Has anbody got one? Or used one in the past?

Joyce is not getting on with this new car of ours. It is too high for her to jump in and out of. My husband can lift her in and out but I can't and he's not always there. Today she had to jump out and slipped as she hit the road:( We need to get something sorted quickly for her.

    Any suggestions please?

    Thanks

My friend had a ramp for her 2 pointers as they couldn't get in and out of the car. It worked well and she's kept it as it was so good. I might have to borrow it later for my dog.

Thanks LMRR, can you find out where she got it from & how much pls? Do they have to be a certain height or anything, like do they come in different sizes? A pointer would be about the same size/weight as Joyce I think- roundabout.

    Cheers

Thanks Pete, blooming heck £100!! It looks a bit bendy as well. Really though, £100 is not too much if Joyce is happy.

    Has anyone else seen/used it?

Doesn't say too much on the site though does it? We need something. I know I can Google too but experience is much better which is why I asked on here. Thanks again Pete.

    cheers

I know somebody who made his own.

just a couple of pieces of plywood covered with carpet, a piece of piano hinge in the middle so it could fold in half to stow in the car.
