I am not a freeloader, and support any forum I am a member of
I found it easy to donate here using the DONATE button at the top of the screen

My concern is, it appears no one has contributed anything as it is always donations received ZERO

I mentioned this back in July and the site advised it had a coding problem
This needs to be fixed as it is possibly losing the site income, which pays to run this excellent site

Any coders out there who could assist ?

Why, well if one is to see contributions received this month 27 and it costs 30 pm to run, then I am sure most of us would hit contribute £3 to make it reach target, hopefully as twenty of us have done this, then a nice safety net with extra income to cover the unexpected costs that may be incured

I am not really into the flag "fully paid member" alongside name, as this is a good forum and all are treated equal,

Just I would like to see the GC supported

I've been trying to set up my donations since July but have a query on it, so it still hasn't happened.

I have a question I would like to ask on this one.
If nobody donated money...is somebody else loosing money? And if so may I ask who?

This is the first and only forum I have ever joined so I don't know it all works but when I joined back in summer my thought's were that the site clearly has a lot of active users....and adverts...and that they no longer needed donations as now the site is up and running I thought they are making enough money to pay their bills. I know that's proberly going to be wrong so please feel free to re-educate me on the matter??

The one losing money would be the owner of the site

I have a couple of sites that cost me, I just pay it, as it is something I enjoy

If the income from adverts (I have none) were to pay for the site all well and good
If people appreciate what is on offer and cough up then that is better and that is life, Put in the effort get some reward

I think if you google this site is the number one in the UK and so it should be

I do not know what the site makes, and do not want to know, I just know the recommended donation is a lot less than a treetreetreetree magazine that offers no answers

I contribute anyway, but hate the site to go down because of nil or not enough income

I made a years donation and it never did show up on the monthly goals although I don't know how that would work. Also I'm STILL having to put up with the adverts......... There are probably others on here who have donated and it just isn't showing up.

Also I would just like to remind everyone about Google's advertising policy on forums.... Please take note..........

Google do not allow talk on open forums about their advertising policy.......

This is Google's policy not Gardeners Corner's policy, but...... We all have to abide by it..!!

          Many Thanks

I frequent several forums, including hifi forums and conspiracy forums .... all these forums rely on donations to maintain their running costs of their sites

This is a very good forum .... I have learned loads, spend a lot of time on here, so will be making my donation soon
