Think I went too early and might lose stuff. Again!! :gaah:
A few days ago I put in 2 Honeysuckles, 1 Clematis and 1 Russian Vine. The two out the front are ok, but the Vine and 1 Honeysuckle out the back are turning yellow and curling. The wind up here (over 900ft) has been baltic, but we have had some sun so I thought they'd be ok. Is there anything I can do? Or might it be the soil at the back? I had chickens on there but that was a year ago.

As long as their roots don't dry out, I reckon they'll pull through. The Russian vine plays dead for a while after planting, waits til its earned your trust and convinced you that all the tales about it being a menace are unfounded, then it waits til you turn your back for a moment then takes over your garden.

I wouldn't, you'll start curling up and turning yellow.

The two I put in the front are ok, but of the two left out back the russian vine although not dying, hasn't shown any sign of life at all, and the honeysuckle looked like it was ready to expire so I moved it and fed it and told it to pull itself together.

The russian vine is probably biding it's time. Hopefully the honeysuckle will be ok. Funnily enough, I nearly bought one today but have the problem of wondering where to put it! :snork:

All day today has been monsoon weather. I should give up gardening. Concrete it and paint it green. Would be far easier on my nerves!

Keep faith, Fu ... might be easier on your nerves, but you wouldn't get the same 'rewards' ;)
