well, i thought that was lovely, although i'm not a fan of hot tubs.

very colourful planting and a great area for the kidz. all in all, i thought it was very successful

tbh, one program i do miss i Home Front In The Garden. that was a cracking series, a bit like grand designs but for the outdoor spaces. bring something like that back or a new sort of take on it and i think we'll all be happy

 

Absolutely Armandii, I agree with you too al that it looked good once complete but even though they were creating a low maintenance garden there were things in there that were going to need protection in the winter and/or replcing next year. These gardens are an instant fix but still need looking after for them to mature and look good next year, just hope the owners are left with some info on what to do otherwise they're going to look a little disappointed when things start going astray....

For those that didnt know, Lindsey is my sister, Ian is my brother-in-law, and the kids are my nephews and niece.

I was on the TV but you wouldn't notice me as I was hidden in the background haha

The garden was much more impressive standing in it.. very colourful too.

The thing people dont know, is that suburbs of Norwich are very mild.. all those plants will survive there no problem.

Hi Stephen, there's no doubting the garden is impressive and well earned (not the right words, but for want of a better phrase), out of my own personal curiosity though are the owners left with details on how to care for their new gardens?

 

They love it.. Ian was overwhelmed by it.. and it takes a lot to overwhelm him!

Bilbo.. to be honest there is no real need.. most of the garden is self watering I believe, and they have a robot lawn mower.. it's a garden that take care of itself, apart from the veg patch.

As for the more tender plants, they will survive there I believe.. although maybe the Callistemon citrinus will have trouble, but everything else will be fine.

Definitely, for them, I think the kids and relaxing comes first before planting and flowers, so it suits them.
