......"Whenever I opened the paper I saw that my pitiful little holdings in various industrial shares had slid still further down the slope. Everything seemed to be cracking up. England was unutterably weary, America was in the throes of a nervous breakdown, Germany had consumption, Italy was suffering from delusions of grandeur, Spain was about to be sick, Russia had the delirium tremens, and France had an acute attack of hysteria following indigestion. The world seemed vulgar, irrational and dangerous."......

      I trade my pension money

I have unit trusts in south africa in a company called Old Mutual

I switch between Old Mutual gold and Old mutual money market unit trusts

gold for the 'up' spikes ... money market to keep safe when gold has peaked

pretty easy to trade .... sell when it's nearly as high as the previous highs .... sell when you have made 15% .... wait till it falls 15-20% of the previous highs ... if you follow this routine, you can do 2-3 trades a year

switching costs are not that expensive .... I've been trading for more than 15 years and average between 15- 20% per annum

I can draw my cash when I reach 55 and have done pretty well (so far)

I frequent an investement forum ... the guys in the US who have been trading silver have done exceptional over the past 2 years
