Dracunculus vulgaris

    Has anyone got, seen or knows anything about the yellow Dracunculus? I believe I read somewhere that it comes from Crete.

    Hi Green Fingers, thanks for the lead. Very interesting, but alas nothing on the Cretan yellow form.

    I got several in the garden which I thougt the winter would have killedand I kept one in the greenhouse which I think is just about to do something spectacular - like SMELL!

    I have got 5 vulgaris all doing well they have got their first lot of leaves and come up every year without fail.

    Waco they reckon the smell only lasts for a day, they will overwinter outside they are quite hardy if you keep upwind of them you will be ok :D
