      Yesterday afternoon, I was visiting a friend and we were sat in companionable silence in the garden, each in thoughts of time gone by. Then, the buzz began (no, not bees) but dragonflies! Many of them! They flitted around, did their aerobatics, flitted some more and .... oh, what a pleasure it was to see them at this time of year. Boy, did they lift the spirits for those glorious moments!

          Why is it, when I can spend days with a camera and macro lens searching around local lakes for elusive Dragonflies, I then spot one at my plot when I only have my phone with me, and it just sits there letting me take (vastly inferior) pics from only a few inches away?

              @Scrungee ....Nowt wrong with that photo... You need to see mine ;) i can only take pics on an old garden phone...I've been banned from anything else as i put um down :help:... the larf is... for safety :snorky:...and then forget where i left it :scratch: ....so after having half the village on a hunt numerous times and after a so-called friends elected committee a decision woz made to only allow me anyone's old reject phone...they say im toooo dizzy:huh:....dont know wat they mean by that :whistle:



              @martin-f Lovely capture of your visitor ovipositing....how fab ...you'll be taking pics of larvae next spring :fingers crossed:....another visitor to add to your increasing Nature visitor list :yes:
