Dranunculus vulgaris

Haven't grown this for many years.
But I have recently bought myself a dormant bulb.

Does anyone grow this?
How hardy is it likely to be?

 

Its totally hardy Sirius, well it has been for me in the last 10 yrs or so, and we have had some bad winters in that time.

 

Mine is planted deep and emerged a few weeks ago. To be honest I was more concerned about it rotting over the winter when I planted it out than the cold. I grew mine on in a large pot or a few years and just planted the largest bulb out, growing the babies on with a little more love - they multiply freely.

 

I have started mine off in a pot.
Once it gets going, I will plant it out in a sunny, well drained spot.
