Good afternoon went to the Riverside Country Park it was cold but most enjoyable
The landscape looks like something from science fiction from above @wiseowl, good pictures though.
You must be totally thrilled with the outcome of those pictures! Love the detail of the contours. Really good images, woo - thank you for sharing them with us ETA: It would have been a wonderful way to compare and contrast the views if you had been able to also take pictures of the same scenery with a hand held camera. Maybe something to consider when you are next on a Drone Adventure? Just thinking out loud
Fascinating Woo. It's obviously a good piece kit you have.
hand held camera. Maybe something to consider when you are next on a Drone Adventure? Just thinking out loud Good evening @Sheal @"M" @roders and thank you my friends, here's a few more
What a fascinating & wonderful place , thanks for sharing.
I've got this mental picture of Woo hanging onto the Drone as he flies it while taking pics from his handheld camera 500 feet off the ground.
Hi Woo, Also thinking about getting a drone, what model do you have please and were the pictures taken with the camera supplied with drone?
Are you implying that Woo is breaking the law? The only way he can be legal and at 500ft is if he's doing the flying, and carrying the drone.
Alright,Alright there's only room for one comedian at gardeners Corner Good morning @Gogs and @ARMANDII @intel @shiney my friends many thanks for your kind and friendly comments @intel my friend I have the Phantom 3 and the above images I took with my Panasonic FZ100 (incidentally the finest camera I have ever owned and I have had a few)
Hi Woo, ive been thinking of getting a drone, I think intel was referring to the drone images, does the Phantom 3 come with a camera ? have you fixed the Panasonic FZ100 to the drone ? many thanks.
Good morning @martin-f my friend ,my apologies the camera is a permanent fixture on the drone,I wouldn't send my beloved FZ1000 up with the drone ,it would probably be far to heavy, and I have been searching for a bridge camera like the FZ 1000 for a long time which is comparable with my DSLR's and it really is,its 2.8 stretches all the way through wide angle to telephoto ,which is very handy in our dark winters we have and goes from 25mm to 1000mm
Thank you Woo , are the drones easy to fly please, I have no experience with them, i have read up a little in the past, Some have a follow me function is this available on the P3, also does this model come with two batteries please, its a nice pastime you have there , many thanks.
Aha! So, you did take photos from the land perspective Not sure why, but this one really caught my eye and made it linger; there is something quite magical about it ...
Good evening @martin-f ,its relatively easy but then I have been flying since I was a tiny owlet(sorry I couldn't resist that) Yes the P3 does have a follow me function,if I have the remote in the car P3 will follow me,and it comes with just the one battery Thank you @"M" my friend Mrs woo use to say that about yours truly
