Drunken snail and slug hunt.

Hi All,

Last night i watched the England match whilst having a few beers. So after the match and about 8 cans i thought it would be a good idea to go on a snail and slug hunt as they are decimating my cabbage and lettuce at the moment. After stumbling around the garden for about 30 minutes and collecting about 2/3 of a 4 pint milk carton full of the slimy criters i went to bed feeling quite pleased. However when i woke this morning with quite a fuzzy head i decided a cuppa and a walk around the garden was in order, so off i went. I got half way down the garden and then noticed the complete devastation i had caused in the garden there are pots and plants everywhere. and i have completly lost 1 lettuce to the slimy ones. Moral of the story do not get drunk and try to do a delicate operation of walking in and out of plant pots. Got a big clean up when i get home this evening.
