My chillies are all starting to turn red now so id like to pick them.

Whats the best way to dry them?

Is it just a case of hanging them and storing in a jam jar?

    Hi Adam.

I just wash them briefly, then put them on an old piece of fine metal mesh on one of the slats in the airing cupboard for a few days, with a couple of old bits of wood between slat and mesh to allow air to circulate round them, then store in an airtight jar away from light.

    cheers,
    Dave

Secret squirrel freezes them whole in plastic bags - stops them getting freezer burn.

Remove from freezer one at a time, slice while still frozen and use them as you like.
