Durian fruit sweeties

    My friend brought some durian sweeties back from holiday. I've tried durian cake and couldn't swallow it properly; it wasn't particularly bad but my body made me have a coughing fit. Durian sweeties were a lot nicer, some of it was really nice (don't know if that was sweetie taste or durian), enough to nibble and finish one but, oops... one durian sweetie was all it took.

    Durian is a very popular fruit in hot countries and you can buy them fairly easily over here BUT they really have an awful smell. :hehe:

    They are banned on almost every airline in the world!

    Ahh! memories of a market in Singapore, that smell takes me back a few years (decades) but sweets? no, I think I'll give them a miss.:D
