Early Autumn

    The hot dry weather will probably mean an early Autumn. I found some ripe blackberries yesterday and these Cuckoo-pint berries.

    That reminds me of that strange Iris, Hornbeam, foetidissima, which grow in the gardens where my apartment is in the IoW.
