    Hello everyone,

I've got a question about some first earlies ( Epicure) which have started sprouting. Is it any good planting them in the polytunnel now? Or will they just sulk and give up because it may not get any warmer before March?

We live in the west of Ireland in County Clare and so enjoy quite a mild climate.
I would be grateful for any tips!

Evening Flugus, and welcome to the site. If they are growing now, then it doesn`t matter if it`s not going to get any warmer. The problem is, to stop them getting colder. If you can do that, then go for it. If they are going in the ground in the tunnel, then do it. But earth them up straight away to protect them from any really cold weather.
