Having a rotary mower with no back roller means I have trouble with the lawn edges and end up ripping the grass bare in places.
I have almost completed edging the lawns with blue bricks which solves the problem..and no more edging shears either!
    This mornings little job..

So you escaped the eagle eye, then Nick! [IMG]

Looks good, and very practical. I could just do with the same myself....

I have approx. 250 paving bricks from free cycle just like Nicks' , only beige not blue :( I was inspired by an earlier picture of another border he did the same way....
What I need now is motivation.

Just think of the extra time sitting down with a cool drink after mowing instead of having to clip the edges and clear up! [IMG] [IMG]

And finally...at long last...despite hold ups along the way...having to 'source'materials and liberate them [IMG] .....My entire lawn areas are now edged and for once I am looking forward to mowing them!!
The final stretch was completed this afternoon [IMG]
