Easy Mowing

Having a rotary mower with no back roller means I have trouble with the lawn edges and end up ripping the grass bare in places.
I have almost completed edging the lawns with blue bricks which solves the problem..and no more edging shears either!
This mornings little job..

I have approx. 250 paving bricks from free cycle just like Nicks' , only beige not blue :( I was inspired by an earlier picture of another border he did the same way....
What I need now is motivation.

 

Just think of the extra time sitting down with a cool drink after mowing instead of having to clip the edges and clear up!

 

Mrs Pal will have to start shopping on-line just to keep an eye on you!

And finally...at long last...despite hold ups along the way...having to 'source'materials and liberate them .....My entire lawn areas are now edged and for once I am looking forward to mowing them!!
