Hello there, I am doing some research into Eccentric Gardeners for a small BBC film and I wondered if any of your considered yourselves 'eccentric gardeners' and if sao why, or if you knew of any ?

    Thank you!

Hi I looked the word up in the Odd people's Dictionary :dh: and the meaning was Odd behaviour or strange behaviour as opposed to being Normal:roll: Well I consider (Normal is just a Cycle on a washing Machine):dh:I personally think that Eccentricity is just a form of behaviour which no one else understands:cnfs: so I am just off to water the lawn in the rain:rotfl::rotfl::thmb:

Like it Woo,though you saying that about watering the garden in the rain.I worked with a woman who would go out into the garden when it was raining to turn the soil in the borders to wash the soil that was underneath. She would even go out with a bucket of soapy water and would wash the lampost outside her house. She wasn't eccentric though just suffered from OCD.I did say to her once that she needed help and after that she never spoke to me for two years .....

It's a sad fact that anybody with a hobby is considered to be eccentric.
you like trains, you're an anorak,
You like TV, you're a nerd,
You like gadgets, you're a geek.

To my astonishment, one guy, upon hearing that I'd performed at a belly dance show, gone on to a SCI FI convention, and finished the week by re-enacting the wars of the Roses at Warwick Castle, actually turned round to me and said 'Get a life'.

He had spent the weekend swilling beer and watching telly!

    I wish I were normal :(

    NOT!!
