I’ve had a pups growing at the base of my Echeveria but never in between the leaves. Will they grow with tendril type stems which droop downwards to form a lovely display in the pot or would it be better to take them off and re-pot them when they get bigger?

I tend to leave them to form a clump of rosettes, but when they get bigger you can use some for propagation.

Thank you Pete, I have a small one growing nicely in its own pot- it got knock off from the base last year when some heavy handed person (husband) was attempting to pointed to it but prodded it instead then said "Whoops sorry...

Should add that once the leaves below the pups drop through old age they are basically the same as those that form at the base of the stem.
