I hit upon a site "Ten of the best edible flowers". (http://www.oregonlive.com/hg/index.ssf/2012/06/10_of_the_best_edible_flowers.html)
Sounds interesting, though I can't try all of them, as I mainly have traditional edibles in my garden. I've eaten squash-, nasturtium- and day lily-blossoms, and like particularly the nasturtium. The other two are rather neutral.
And to the ten I have to add chives buds and flowers, which I enjoy almost more than the leaves.
But can anyone please try out their chrysanthemums for me?
    Thanks!

        Me neither.
I can add Asphodeline lutea though.................

The flowers taste a bit like toned down Kiwi fruit. The unopened flower heads are cut off whole and cooked as a vegatable although I haven't done this as it is too garden-worthy.

I'm not one to leave my plants alone just because they look so good! Or anything, really ....
