Hi all, I am thinking of putting one of these in our churchyard.. Relatively free draining stoney clay.. I can easily dig a much bigger hole and fill with soil and compost and plant shrub in said hole.. Anyone any ideas or tips very welcome on what compost.. Was thinking John Innes number 3, what do you all think.. ?

Its scent is fantastic, you can smell it way off and the berries are edible so no danger to any children..

Elaeagnus umbellata , Sweet n' Tart, Eleagnus umbellata (Autumn Olive) Plants

This is obviously thinking of Autumn planting, but need to run it by a few people first.. Many thanks..:thumbsup:
