Couldn't find a Drinkable Gardening section of the forum (most remiss of the Moderators!! tut tut). Have various and too vigorous elder trees which seems to be at the stage of flower that suggests the making of alcoholic beverages. Does anyone have any good and easy recipes? Have looked on the web and there are a million variations from utterly- to mildly-complex. Anyone got a simple idiot-proof recipe?
Forgot to say, limited equipment here - plenty of used wine bottles if they can be used ...

We keep the drinks in with the recipe section :ccheers: in case we get peckish while we're brewing.

Cheers Zigs, I've got some brewing equipment of some sort that has been in the garage for donkeys so will look at that tomorrow to see if I have the necessary equipment. I'll also look in the recipe section as suggested. I'm wondering if there is a recipe that can be stored in used wine bottles (with screw caps).
      Thanks

      No worries :)

If you're going to make a fizzy version, don't use the normal wine bottles, they'll explode. You'll need the Champagne/Cava bottles. Easy enough to blag from a pub/restaurant.
