I had a courgette grow so huge I just left it to see how big it'd get. It's like a marrow now, a king of courgettes so I named 'im Elvis, lol!!
Poor Elvis is about to get cremated again though, maybe I should name my oven Graceland? ;)

How are you going to cook him, Jay? A friend of mine did this with a couple of her courgettes last year, and we had a really tasty baked courgette with grilled mushrooms and cheese........ one of the best lunches I've ever had! :D

Is a big courgette any different from a marrow? When I had an allotment and the courgettes got too big, we stuffed'em with mince and herbs. Lovely [IMG]

Mrs.DAG has been baking courgettes/marrows for years. Not a precise recipe so won't add it.

But she uses breadcrumbs, egg, drop of milk, grated cheese as the basis, but add any combination of herbs, bacon, mushrooms, chopped onion, but finally topped with tomatoes!

Serve hot or cold, especially good served cold on a salad.

That's a tough one Fancy, I'm vegan by choice. I do miss proper melting cheese though!
