email alerts

How do I stop receiving email alerts? My email inbox is getting choked up.

Hover your cursor over your name on the top bar, select preferences, untick receive email alerts

Of course, that will mean that you receive no email alerts so when your email inbox remains empty for weeks on end ... it does not mean you are not loved

I still getting email alerts despite un-ticking the box.

I found that you untick the box but you will still get e-mails from old threads, if you do, go to that thread and unwatch then click watch and it should update to not getting e-mails

mmmmmmmmmmm I have just joined had same problem I unticked the box for emails contacted a mod he did somethink but I still got emails telling me I had alerts so in the email at the bottom there was a bit that said unsubscribe from these emails so I did
