I have a samsung E350 phone, and can't get it to send photos to my e-mail account. With my old motorola, I would just put in an e-mail address instead of a phone number and it would be sent. Anyone know how to do this???? I go out and take loads of photos on my phone, but can't upload them!!! Ideas??? (apart from getting a new phone!!!)

    Cheers!!

Honey Bee as a last resort with my old phone I infer redded them to my wifes laptop. Most of the new phones have memory cards which allow you to USB to the computer. Just need the relevant USB connector. Having said that I have never used a samsung E350 only Nokias and Sony's.

Just a little note: not all mobile phones come with a memory card.......only about 10% of new phones do.........your phone comes with 30/40mb of interanl memory. you should of gotton a lead that connects your phone to the pc for either chargeing or uploading.......if not then contact your local mobile phone dealer who will supply you one for about £10.

make sure that you have setup the phone properly...some phones need to be setup to send picture messageing.......contact your phone provider who will help you. ;)

Doh!!!! Its an E530 - dyslexic fingers!!!!! totally rubbish, and as soon as I can, I'm going back to Motorola!!!!

I will pop into the phone shop and get a USB lead.... I think that will be the easiest way of doing it....

    Thanks!!! HB

PC MEDIC will correct me if im wrong but you may also need a small piece of software to let your phone and your computer talk to each other (ie for Nokia you need "NOKIA PC SUITE").This also lets you load music etc to your phone, manage your phone book and back up important info from your phone to your computer.

Beefy, when I bought my connector for my Sony 700i the software came with it, I think. Also with the newer phone depending on how old your computer is they can read the memory cards like another drive rather than a phone so they are more communicable without phone specific applications. Certainly for older phones you defininately need specific software.

Cool, Nokia really are the bench mark of a quality mobile. I only go sony becasue they seem to be smaller and have slightly better battery life ? I am hoping the 850i will be good at 2 MPixels. They do a 3.2 one but it doesn't have all the MP3 goodies. What I am interested in is the memory card storage which my camera has but current mobile hasn't. Your pics are really good I wouldn't have thought they were from a phone.

When running the sat nav the battery really takes a hammering, need to charge after 3 hours. But when listening to radio or MP3 player it will go about one and a half to two days before needing recharged.Waiting for the 2GB memory cards to appear so I can load sat nav and music and have room for photos without having to change cards all the time.

... sorry to inturrupt your chat guys, but going back to the Motorbike - the answer is NO. I hate motorbikes with a vengance. I will let him take the kiddies round the block ONCE early on a Sunday morning, and that will be it. He knows how I feel about them and I hope he just gets it out of his system and grows up. Mind you, he's a bloke, so he'll never grow up.

    'Nuff said. :(

... and I hope he reads this!!!!!!

HB I had to sell my bike when "She who must be obeyed" got preggers with the first kid. I know it was for the right reasons etc but was really hard to let it go. What makes it worse the plank that bought it never washes or polishes it and I still see it regularly. Its worst on a Sunday morn when I can hear all the lads heading off for the day.
BTW- the kid is 5 past in Jan and im still cut up about it!
