Woo, not sure but I dont think Google E mails will come in through outlook express.

Thought Google mail was a bit like hot mail, or MSN etc.
You need to go to the website to pick up your mail.

Who do you get your internet connection through?

Probably totally wrong, but thats how I do it.

Sorry Woo but Google mail is web based, there is no way of using it with Outlook (which is PC based).

Best to try and sort out your Outlook Express problem. There can't be too much wrong if it sends but doesn't read: My first guess would be any Anti Virus or Firewall software you may have (they might be blocking messages coming in) - has this changed recently?

Hi Woo,not sure about Google, but if I get any mail that goes into my BT Yahoo account I can click on a forward button and the mail gets forwarded to Outlook Express or sometimes it goes automaticly over to Outlook Express.

Not sure exactly how Google Mail works and Mr Kandy is glued to the telly at the moment so until he unglues himslef I can't ask him..sorry

Hi WOO. If your Em worked before this problem (?) just do a system restore and that should cure the problem. You'll find system restore under HELP AND SUPPORT in the START menu. It only takes a few minutes and cures most problems of this sort.

Hi woo, a couple of weeks ago I had the same problem but could only receive. I tried running all the cleanup software but it didn't help. Restore didn't help either. A friend, who is an 'expert', came round and couldn't solve the problem so he said that the easiest thing for me to do was to use Outlook as it is already on my computer (in Microsoft Office). I called up Outlook, made it my default and it then asked me whether I wanted all my stored emails and address book copied to Outlook (1100 contacts in address book and a few thousand stored emails). Clicked 'Yes' and 10 minutes later it was all done. Problem is now sorted :thmb:.

Forgot to mention :dh:. I had to just set up my email accounts in Outlook (POP user etc) as I did originally with Outlook Express.

If you haven't a copy of Outlook on your computer just let me know :thmb:
