Email problems

    Good morning all my friends,I need some help ,I am having a lot of problems with my Gmail primary email address,is it at all possible to delete my present Gmail account and and then open another one with a new email address,as I am given to understand that I cannot change my email which is the one I use to log in to Google,thank you:smile:

    Morning Woo, what problems are you having?

    You can open another gmail account, and then use that to log in to Google. The original one will stay dormant.

      I agree with HG, no need to delete the old account. I've got three gmail accounts, can log into google with any of them - not that I do as I don't trust google and don't understand the benefits.

      Maybe I'm missing out on not logging into Google. Just wondered what advantage is there to being logged into Google?

        I only use my gmail for important stuff all the other rubbish goes to another account, I have my phone connected to my google account, if I take any pictures they are on my computer by the time I walk in the house.

          Good morning H/G,Jwk,Pam thank you for all your posts they are appreciated my friends,to be quite honest I would like to leave Google completely ,I find it puzzling that I cannot just change to a new email address ,its as if Google are in control and not yours truly:smile:
