 Im scratching my head over this one. The packet says this small fruit variety is all female, but every single flower so far has no swelling behind it, and there are a lot of flowers. The plant is in the greenhouse, is nice and green and healthy looking.

    Thank you

    Blue :)

Remove any male flowers, do not let them pollinate the female flowers.:gnthb:

Thank you both. Well the plant doesn't seem stressed but I will remove all the male ones. There will be none left mind :hehe:

It's quite a good idea to remove ALL the first flowers anyway. I've found over the years that cucumbers 'stall' after they produce the first fruit and can take a couple of weeks before any more flowers appear, so I'd recommend pinch off the first few flowers - in your case as they are males then don't hesitate :thumb:

Fair enough Dai, would you remove most flowers to start with though?
