Encyclopaedia on disc

I wish someone would produce an encyclopaedia of plants and flowers with a search facility so that you could search by latin name, common name, leaf shape, flower shape etc. etc. Oh yes, and have it updated every year with new varieties.... I'm sure it would sell...

Does it all by colour or shape of flower or growing environment, temperature, moisture etc.

I lost that programme when my computer went down, but I have the CD and could reload it again.

Only problem is that they didn't have all that many plants on it, but they are adding all the time and may be a lot better now!

 

That sounds like the sort of thing! As you say needs to be bigger- RHS encyclopaedia has 15,000 plants in as opposed to 3,000. Also it's Mac compatible! I might give it a try

It sounds excellent; reviews say it is difficult to interface. I think Imight try it though!
