English football

That's another 90 minutes of my life wasted. Would it hurt them to try a little bit!!

 

I've got better things to do than watch England.....like come on here.

 

My view of football is this.

22 men fighting over one ball, when they get paid more than enough to buy a ball each.

 

The worst thing is.........I don't even like football!!

That was exactly my thought after the final whistle...

 

I think we watch it in the vain hope that maybe, just maybe we will play brilliantly!! but nope, same dreary third rate performance!!

£300k a Week, I would play four weeks then retire aged 19, Oh go on then eight weeks

The Players should be paid about £400 a week by the various tv companies, and the difference paid into the UK Gov coffers, reducing everyones tax bill

Tommy can not be bothered at school, leaves with no academic qualities at 16, no employment, kicks a ball around, gets picked to play for a team and £30m a year

Billy works his socks of studies every night, gets to Uni works hard, becomes a Doctor £140k a year, Something is wrong
Maybe SKY and Virgin should show major operations every Saturday and Sunday, occasionally Wednesdays, the Surgeon gets £300k an op the patient £10ok
Or as above the surgeon gets £140k a year, the patient gets a one off grand, and the NHS gets the remainder

'Performance related pay' springs to mind...

 

....because how does anyone motivate a team of millionaires??
