My friend sent me the following this morning so I thought I'd share it with you ...

Hercules was recently awarded the honourable distinction of Worlds Biggest Dog by Guinness World Records. Hercules is an English Mastiff, has a 38 inch neck and weighs 282 pounds. With "paws the size of softballs" (reports the Boston Herald), the three-year-old monster is far larger and heavier than his breed's standard 200lb limit. Hercules's owner Mr. Flynn says that Hercules weight is natural and not induced by a bizarre diet: "I fed him normal food and he just grew."

Couldn't have put it better myself KG,

LoL he is a bit gorgeous isn't he although i do wonder how his hips will cope as he gets older. Aside from that he looks pretty healthy to me. Wouldn't want to have to be the one to pay the food bill tho :D

Harry Potter Dog!!!! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] They are beautiful dogs - but not only cost a fortune to keep - thay also cost Ã?£1000+!!!!!!
I looked into having one, (I think this one is a Neopolitan Mastiff) but because of their size, only live 8 - 10 years, cannot go off the lead for the 1st year as too much excercise will damage ther hips, and come with countless other potential health problems - and are one of the slobberiest dogs on the planet!!!!
A year or two ago a breeder of one of these broke the world record with the most puppies in a litter - 24!!!! (but 4 died )
