[IMG] Well Lyn was our deserving winner again last month with her photo of Molly".. Some crazy photos from quite a taxing subject.. Great fun..!!

;) Well I haven't heard from Lyn so assuming she must be away.. I too am going away & of course GC will be down for a while for the changeover, so, to get this months comp going I have set the comp theme for next month as I came in, in 2nd place... My choice is "Crazy Flowers" open to your own interpretation.. I am sure you can come up with some interesting photos as there is so much inspiration around at the moment..!! [IMG]

[IMG] So get those thinking caps on... There are so many ways we can interpret this theme, there are sure to be some interesting pictures..!! [IMG]

Can everyone please look at Guideline 6 before entering as there is a slight change. Just about everyone does it anyway I know. Allot of you have commented on how it helps when trying to make decisions on votes, if they are included. So we have made it part of the competition now to keep everything fair & square for everyone...! Thanks Marley. [IMG]

    [IMG] Good Luck everyone..

A Competition for Enhanced Photographic Images.

For Photos taken within the given month, enhance/improved with the use of post picture processing software.

Reasons you may wish to enhance a photo could be to compensate for mistakes made when taking the photo, or indeed to change its atmosphere completely. For example reverting to black and white or maxing out the contrast for a really vibrant sunset.

To ensure we have common starting place for competing, a few ground rules have been established. These will ensure a common standard of submission and ensure photographs are comparable for voting at the end of the month

    Please follow the guidelines below:-

1.All entries to be submitted by 23.59Hrs on the last day of the month of the competition.
    2. You can enter up to three (3) pictures.
    3. Give your picture a title
    4. Post your photos within this thread for entry into the competition. Phtoso posted in other threads will not be considered
5.Photos have to be taken within the current competition month

6.You CAN use software for enhancement or manipulation of a single original image . This may include submission of an image comprising multiple layers of the original image.
Any image deemed to be more than one single image of multi layers, will be deleted.. Mods decision is final.
6a Please include a small thumbnail of the original photo no more than 150 pixels & a short explanation of what modifications you have done...

    7. The winner will be decided by votes by the users of the forum.

    8. The winner of the competition gets to choose the theme for the next month's competition. This theme is to be kept a separate & different theme from the" Current Monthly Photo Comp" theme.

    * "Competitors are advised that they should ensure that their camera's time and date function is set correctly as EXIF data attached to most images is available to moderators and other competitors. *

Please post discussion for this months pictures and about the competition HERE

The very best of luck to you all this month !!
