I have been so beastly busy in November that I FORGOT to post my pics to the comps. I had some, every day I told myself, Oh, the competitions! Ok, I will post the pics tomorrow! ANd in a matter of hours (or so it seems,it was december and too late, lol. Hope to get something done this month.Hubby regaled me with a Xmas tree bigger than me, which is standing half decorated in the living room.I cant seem to be able to finish it (you may think it's a bit early, but usually I have the tree up by 1st december)

Not at all happy about this.
Surely it's incumbent on forummers to read messages properly, and not dismiss those of us posting direct from our computers (as allowed by the system) rather than going through the palaver of first posting a picture on photobucket, etc. If this is the requirement for photo competitions, then the forum should upgrade its programming to allow full sized pictures to be posted in the first place.

Hi Feathers,As I see this is its a Polite Request and just to make sure that everyone did read this Important Information which would be beneficial to all members and to enable other Member,s to view the Competition entries equally and start from a level Playing field which as I see it would give your excellent Images a much improved chance.IMHO:)

:( Feathers I am sorry you feel like that.

:) I spend time running these comps & trying to keep them fair... Which is after all, what the members are asking for...!

I am trying to keep the competitions, fair & enjoyable for all...:thmb:

There is a reason for this photo size request...!!

When people are looking at the photos to vote & are unable to see a full size photo to see the detail & what it is about.......

    One thing happens.....

These photos are being passed over by voters.....!:(

My asking everyone to post a full size photo in competition is not to be awkward, but for a very good reason.....
Just to try & keep everyones chances as good as the next persons to win the comp....!!!

We do get some excellent photos entered in these comps & yours would benefit just as much from being larger pics, as do everyone elses..!!:thmb:

    Thanks

    Marley. :)

I think you are being very fair, If the pics are to small, then like you say, there is not enough detail to be seen and people will by pass them I am sure
I was at fault with my sizing but with help from the forum I am slowly getting there

Hi Feathers, you dont have to use PB now, you can download from your computer into your own Album in GC, just go to your home page, then from your Album into a thread, its easy, Iv'e had a Try and it Worked, :yho: Honestly....:D

Just advanced warning of my photography efforts, I'm actually going to give the competition a go,

My pics have the date stamped on them, is this ok as I don't know how to not have it there?
