    Voting time again..!!! [​IMG]

    :) It is so nice to see new people entering in this comp too, always nice to have fresh ideas on a theme.. The more the merrier...:thmb:

    :) This month is going to be very very difficult as always, to decide on just three!!! Voting will close at midnight on 3rd February 2009 ..!!     :)

    Users Vote Guidelines below:-

    1. Competitors cannot vote for any of their own photographs.

    2. Please vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points, 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - Please give a short explanation as to why you voted for each photo..

    * The photograph with the highest points wins.
    NO VOTES FOR 2 1ST PLACES ETC

    3. Votes should be cast within three days after this thread starting.

    All members of the forum get a vote, not just those who've submitted pictures.


    The Winner of the competition chooses the theme for the next competition, please keep it separate from the other comp theme. So put your thinking caps on in case you are the winner. :wink:

    1) Marley - Re - dee Seeds! It looks like eomething from my Xmas tree,exactly my idea of winter magic!! :)
    2) Woo - Dusky Wood, it looks likethe trees are coming towards you,like the angry Uorns of Fangorn!
    3) Sweetpeas - Sunset sea, I like how the swirls giveenphasis to the beautiful contrasting colours.

    1 Sleigh Ride - Ivory. Evocative, seasonal and very unusual. Enhancement has been subtle but very effective. Quite a remarkable atmospheric image.

    2 Gothic Garden - Ivory. Works very well. I'd be happy to hang it on the wall!

    3 Imagine - WOO. Has the makings of a really first class image. Foregound and mid distance are great, but for my taste a more subtle treatment of the background would have pushed it up my rankings

    The Tower... Dave W.... Any picture that has me looking at it for more than 10secs rates high for me, this is one of them.
    The White Wood ...Ivory... You can almost see the fairies in this picture.
    The creek in jan sunshine..Dave W... Its the boat that lifts this picture above the norm.
