[IMG]Well here we are again everyone.. The end of another month, the first month of the year & you all know what that means.!!:D

    Voting time again..!!! [IMG]

:) This is the competition that lets people have fun with their photos if they want or not want. Whatever you feel..:thmb:

:) This month is going to be very very difficult as always, to decide on just three as there are some beautiful entries!! :thmb:
Voting will close at Midnight on Friday 5th February 2010 . I will leave the voting open the extra day as I am almost a day late setting this thread up.. Apologies everyone...!!
    :dh:

:) So all that remains for me to do is wish, everybody who entered... "Good Luck".!

[IMG] HERE is a link to this months photos to help you decide..

    Users Vote Guidelines below:-

    1. Competitors cannot vote for any of their own photographs.

    2. Please vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points, 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - Please give a short explanation as to why you voted for each photo..

    * The photograph with the highest points wins.
NO VOTES FOR 2 1ST PLACES ETC

    3. Votes should be cast within three days after this thread starting.

All members of the forum get a vote, not just those who've submitted pictures.

The Winner of the competition chooses the theme for the next competition, please keep it separate from the other comp theme. So put your thinking caps on in case you are the winner.

    Thanks

    Marley.

:) OK here are my votes.. I found it very hard to choose these 3 too...

1st... Getafix... Exposure... Just love the complete picture.. Roses are so photographic....

2nd... Postcard from Portugal..... Somewhere I would love to be... Love the emptiness of the beach.. So inviting....
3rd... Dave W... Hellebore... The beauty & stillness captured there.. Hellibores are a favourite of mine too..!!!

:dh: That was so hard as I was also very torn by Woo's Timeless & Alana's Amaryllis... Fantastic photos everyone...!

1 - Marley - Foggy Chestnut. The delicacy of this really struck me, it's almost like a sketch and I'd be very happy to see it hung on a wall

2 - Victoria - Postcard from Portugal. Could be the influence of OUR weather, but I'd be very happy right now looking at that photo in a frame in my study. Very well balanced foreground/mid/distance

3- Alana - Amarylis. Beaut of a photo enhanced by some very well chosen and executed bordering

I love this competition because of the artistic ability that is displayed. Always difficult to choose.

1st ... Woo .... Homeward Bound (so graceful)
2nd ... Lyn ... The Beach (peaceful and I love beach scenes)
3rd ... Alana ... Amaryllis (such a beautifully captured offering)
