[IMG] I think this is a super subject Marge for the "Enhanced Comp" as it is so apt & broad. [IMG]

[IMG] I am always on the look out when walking for inspiration, but this month there are no particular restrictions on the theme to be captured... [IMG]

[IMG] Just our little grey cells to manipulate a single image into "Fantasy".... [IMG] Thanks Marge.. [IMG]

Yep a really super theme Marge, loads of scope for creativity. Thanks!

LoL - Loved the heat and the sea was utterly fantastic. It was quite a shock coming home to 12C and a sodden garden.
Original photo was taken from our balcony in Greece at about 6.20am as I was determined to catch at least one sunrise. As luck would have it one of the few clouds that we saw in three weeks was on the horizon as the sun came up and helped turn an nice Ionian sunrise into something with a bit more impact.
    I wanna go back. Now!

:D You had a good time on your hols too then Dave... :D Where has summer gone here? Seems it has forgotten the UK for now...!!!

[IMG] Some good "Fanasy" pics already folks.. [IMG]

[IMG] I have just entered one & while I was playing with my image I thought how easy it would be to use something else in your pics without really realising it...! So remember folks,
I found it really easy to get totally carried away with this brillianty imaginative theme..... [IMG] So look out it doesn't happen to you... :D

    Hi M.F.
Does that mean we cannot have a layer of just a background colour?
Or if we do, the colour must come from the original photo?
Does an infill colour constitute a new image too?
Picture tubes are part of the software but are they banned?
Sorry for the questions, but I'm new at this.

Marge - thank you for a great theme but my mind keeps seeing my fantasy of a fit bloke doing all the household chores for me wearing a skimpy apron and little else.

If I get one, I'll photograph him and put it in the comp and hopefully he won't need any enhancements ......................

    [IMG] Hi Kryssy,
No, no, everything is fine.... You can manipulate & change your original image around as much as you like in the "Enhanced Comp" ... Just reminding everyone...! [IMG] Easy subject to forget it in, this month, and also to avoid any disappointments ...!!! ;) :D

I only do the skimpy apron bit when the weather is really warm or the heating is turned well up, and I never found one that didn't fit [IMG]

Thank you M.F. for clearing that up for me. ;)

That Earthrise, Dave, is something else. Still trying to figure out how you did it. Did you do it with masks? I'm only just getting my head round that.

Everyone does really good work and you should all be proud. Doesn't get the weeding done though does it???

Still, I'll get the fit bloke to do it............................... or Mike !! [IMG]

I used Paint Shop Pro Kryssy. One of the 'artistic effects' features is 'balls and bubbles' and you can produce a variety ranging from multiple to single bubbles with a variety of 'fills' ot textures. Once I had the earth 'bubble' in the right place and size I tweaked the image a tiny bit to make it look slightly less less a photo.
The starting point and inspiration came from a series of sunrise photos (one of about 20) that made the rising sun look like a ringed planet.
It wasn't a technically complicated process due to the original image. I'm a great believer in the KISS approach to photo-enhancement.

    Apron? Never wear one ;)
