Enhanced March Photo Comp Discussion Thread..!!

Nice theme WOO!
The carnival pic is from the third of March, I was fooling around with my Venice costume before packing it away, and took some pics of myself! When I looked at the pics later, I found this funny one with the curious flying parasol, my camera's idea of creative vision, I think!

 

Ooops! I need an opinion fromthe moderator and fellow participants!

I have been fiddling with a picture of my cat for this comp,but instead of doing "save as" I just clicked on "save" therefore losing the original!!! Damn my clumsy fingers and all that,but it is done!

Now, I have a picture that was almost identical, they were taken at a moment distance, just, this was a bit out of focus... could I be excused if I post post that as reference?
I will take a polite no with much philosophy, so do not scruple to tell me if it is not ok!
