Brilliant Scotkat, you must have enjoyed your trip to the States, we are looking forward to ours later in the year.

 

Been to different parts of the States a few tiem but think this was 3rd time to Florida bu t1st tiem at Christmas and New year .

Yes it was SPECTACULAR the atmosphere was electric.

We did not have the need to go to Disney but had heard that christmas eve and day entrance closed ealry morning.

So we wanted to be in Epcot for hogmanay being my husbands birthday wanted dinner inEpcot.

We could not get table until 10pm only table left was in Norway in the World showcase .

The food was first class and by that time was certainly glad to sit down.

They told us that all restraunts for dinner were booked up some 3months before.

KG yes finale was SPECTACULAR bigger than other countries and loud felt the ground shake.

We so love America and of course pound against the dollar was good for us.

Go with an empty suitcase or very little.

25th anniv holiday.

 

We went last year to the Grand Canyon and San Francisco took our son for his 21st Birthday you will love it .

Bring a sweater for San Fransico or light windproof jacket.

We were there end August early sept and got Fog for the famous bridge and it was very cool with the fog.

Congratulations to you both when it comes.

We went to Sidney in 2000 for our 25th and it just feels like yesterday.
