Would the use of Epsom salts (one teaspoon in a gallon) on watering exacerbate any preexisting salt burn issues with potted plants?

    Just wondering. Thanks folks.

Hi g g I would think it would make the problem worse you would be better using rainwater or distilled water flood the plant pot let it drain try to flush out the build up of salts that are in the soil, you wont repair the damage that has been done but prevention is a better way forward usualy over feeding or hard water are the problem so try and get those right first.

Well, I've flushed the pot out once (thoroughly I might add), and followed with a small watering of epsom salts to help alleviate any magnesium deficiency. Most of it drained through the bottom so fingers crossed, I should begin to see some improvements.
