I think I may have neglected last years etna chilli plant by forgetting it was in conservatory. It's dried out completely and I'm not convinced I can resurrect it.

Have lots of dried chillies now. Would the seeds from the chillies be suitable for trying for a new plant?

    Thanks in advance

Yes, if the chillies had matured properly, which is most likely, then you can use the seed for growing new plants. Depending on how the originals were propagated your new plants may or may not come true but they will still produce new chilli plants.

With the original plant, if the leaves have all died and the plant was left in a cold conservatory then it is an ex-chilli plant. :heehee:

It is very much an ex-chilli plant ;)

I shall see if it's children will go forth and multiply!
