Euphorbia Tirucalli

This plant was next to me and I would guess it was about three-four meters tall. Any ideas? Thank you.

 

Looks similar to this plant listed as a Pencil cactus (Euphorbia tirucalli)
Never can be sure of images and descriptions on the tinterweb though.

Hi @dowlish and thank you very much. I believe that is it. My photo is of a plant in a garden next door to where my friends were staying here a few years ago. It was ginormous ... I cut me out f the photo in a trikini which truly showed its height. I saw another yesterday ... but I can't remember exactly where! I am sure I appropriated a cutting of the first so must search later this morning.

I was actually doing a search to id a Euphorbia of my own and then I read your post. Came across it purely by chance.

 

Clever you. I ordered cuttings.

 

My cuttings arrived. Very healthy so potted them up ../
