    Hi All,

I have done some googling on this, but everywhere seems to say it is pest free.

However, this photo taken today seems to prove otherwise, any ideas what it could be? what ever it is seems to have left some evidence in the form of droppings on whats left.

    Cheers

I can't be certain but it looks like Lily Beetle damage to me. There is a thread that you can read at the top of this forum.

Thanks for that, ill have to keep my eye out for moving poos lol.

Don't think I have seen any of the adult beetles, although I think I have soldier beetles living in the grass.

Are the brown lumps dry or slimy? Like a rich jewel in an Euryop's ear.

It doesn't look much like lily beetle to me. They have to be slimy to be LB.

:hate-shocked: I have many varieties of Euryops and have never encountered this so I am sorry I cannot be of any help and hope you find a cure soon.

they look dry, both of my Euryops which are about 10 meters apart appear to have this pest, it isn't destroying the plant as only one or 2 flowers have had their petals eaten, but if he invites his mates over for the night things could get ugly.

just had a quick look in the garden and found slugs eating the flower petals :-/ so the little poos must be slug poo.

removed the slugs that were on the flowers, and found about 5 more on a trek towards them, ignoring the lupins and everything else that slugs are supposed to like.
