Walnut, that was incredible. I went through a range of emotions from sad, to angry (get them) & then yeeaahhh. Fantastic.

One thing - did i hear someone (a woman) laugh in the background when it started (the attack)? I thought i did, maybe they were looking at something else or didn't see it. Even if you've been doing that sort of job or something for many years, you wouldn't laugh would you? Maybe it was a nervous reaction...?

Anyway, thanks for sharing, that was great.

    Cheers

Was difficult to know what might happen next, but at one point I really thought they had left it too late.
Cant workout why the lions didn't kill the calf, in other "kills" I've watched on TV the prey is normally killed pretty fast.

That was one lucky calf,..... if getting set upon by half a dozen lions can be classed as lucky. :D

The lions were very nervous Pete they were aware of the mass of water buffalo heading towards them and wary of the crocs as well probably not focussed on the job in hand(or claw).

i think the main lions left might have been young ones and might not have been quite so good at killing yet? pretty amazing video, thought the crocs were going to eat the calf - i think that was there intention but i am choosing to believe they came to it's rescue!

does anyone know if the man who got stuck up an elephants behind is on youtube? thats worth a watch!
