Out for cycle ride yesterday evening along the lanes to a local beach. We saw Kestrels, Swallows and one 150g baby hedgehog! Had look around but no sign of mum or other babies. He's so tiny and curled and went to sleep in my hand. Too small to be left out on his own,so is now residing in my bedroom in large rat cage. I was hoping to have escaped orphaned/lost baby hogs this year, this is 3rd year now that is has happened. I would say he is around 3 weeks as he is at the weaning stage - they are just heart meltingly cute at that age :wub2:
