    Hi,

I am after a frost hardy ground covering plant that is evergreen and flowers during the summer.
    What is the best option?

It would be located in full sun on soil which in the winter can get slightly saturated.

    Thanks

Pachysandra is pretty resilient, is evergreen, has white flowers and will grow just about anywhere, even under Leylandii.:gnthb:

Jings Dai, I know Pachysandra has a reputation for being tough.I'm glad it did well for you. The blighter has never grown anywhere for me. Ain't it funny :(

periwinkle, or ( if my latin has improved) vinca major.

The recommendation of Dai's is spot on -pachysandra is gorgeous.

Another endorsement here for periwinkle- vinca minor, lovely purple (or white)flowers too.

Ajuga and some types of phlow also spread nicely.

Hi guys. I haven't posted in a while. Just been lurking a bit. Anyhoo can you tell me if Pachysandra suppresses weed growth or do the weeds grow up through it?
