    Hi all,

I’ve never had a handing basket (previous owners left a bracket) so would be looking for something evergreen so I can just let it do its own thing until I get round to doing the front garden next year as its just hedging and stones.

Having looked at plants online Im not really sure what will and wont grow in a basket. The only hard no is Ivy as im currently pulling out years of ivy growth the previous owner let run rampant everywhere.

If it helps, the front of the house gets sun from the morning until about midday when it goes to the back of the house.

    TIA

I’ve recently planted two hanging baskets with Vinca Minor in three colours and am hoping they’ll last for years :love30:. Got the idea from the Crocus website

I was thinking maybe tumbling ted but this may be a better idea as these are evergreen and cheaper. How many did you need for a basket?

I just used three per basket, one of each colour. They were in 9cm pots when I bought them and are starting to fill out quite nicely and flowering well already.
