I have a couple areas of the garden I want to hedge. At the front onto a busy road. Down the side to give a bit of privacy in the back from neighbours directly overlooking.

From pruning hedges in the past I want to keep them at 8-10 ft. I would like evergreen to help reduce noise. It would be nice to have some colour flowers berries etc.

I was thinking about pyracantha. But not sure how well it hedges. Any other recommendations?
