    Hi earth people,
In my green house sitting there waiting for the better weather is one of two garden wooden benches,
This one we bought a few christmas' ago as a joint present to each other,
it was a mail order offer and when it arrived it was a put together yourself kit,

Dont get me wrong it's good well treated wood and all machine made 'you just needs a few long cramps to hold it together while the glue hardens,

I feel every garden, patio, even a concrete yard has a space for a bench
some place you can just sit and think,
enjoy the birds flying around "tugging at some worm trying to pull it out of the soil,
That place to sit at the end of your gardening day and look at what you've done and whats tobe done tomorrow.

Ive had many a nice sit (one of the dogs joins me on the bench) and just done lots of "nothing" take the garden in, enjoy the peace of the garden,

We're coming up to the time of year when the garden centre's, the likes of B&Q will have on offer such things as benches/ seats etc,

Why not go mad and treat yourself to one!
your not getting any younger and im sure you'll enjoy a bit of peace perfect peace on one of those summer afternoons just after hanging the washing out is a good time to grap 5 mins and take the sunshine in, even the uk gets a few good weeks of nice weather.

If your not able to be treating wooden benches then have a look at the plastic ones, you dont have to do much to them maintainance wise, just a wipe with a cloth and thats about it,
So are you going to join me and have a bench?:sofa: ???????

I don't have a bench, just a small wall. You can't beat a good sit down with a roll-up and a rest to look at your hard work.

I'd love a nice bench. I might get one this year. I usually relax in a reclining sun lounger - the type with a nice thick cushion. Just the job for watching the bees buzzing around.

Here's my OHs effort...we took a picture of the original at Chelsea and the clever old stick built a copy from the photograph. In the days when he did something useful:heehee:
