Visited this Friday for the first time. My little camera has not done justice to the colours of the stunning displays:

After Exbury we went to Hythe and saw the Queen Mary 2 sailing out of Southampton:

Some beautiful spring colours there John, you've captured some lovely reflections in the water too.
          Thanks for sharing. :dbgrtmb:

Thanks Trunky, the water reflections were unintentional. I'm disappointed it was an overcast day otherwise the colours would have been even more intense.

Freddy, if you've ever been to the Motor Museum at Beaulieu then Exbury is a couple of miles further on towards the coast :dbgrtmb:

Lovely, John. Azaleas and rhodos and bright enough to provide their own sunshine!

              Hiya John.

I have been to Beaulieu, but that was a L O N G time ago, when I was little:snork: I have however been to the New Forest a few times, so I get the gist of what you're saying:WINK1:

All gorgeous, but this one is my favourite :wow::wub2:

Do you know what it was? Looks like one of the large leaved ones like Praestans or Rothschildii:wub2:

I've got a couple but they are too young to flower at the moment. Hopefully next year.

No sorry I don't know what it is, I have another photo of the same plant, the outside of the flowers looked beautiful too with pink/bown mottling:
