Expectation vs Reality...

    Does anyone with more experience than me know... is this sprout likely to be the root stock rather than the cherry part? I'm still debating asking for my money back but only if it is the root stock that has sprouted.

    That is definitely the root stock growing, I assume the graft is showing no life at all? Time for your money back I think!!!

    Bex I'm no expert but I'd say that was growing off the rootstock.

    Whether it is or not though, I would write to them and ask for my money back. There is no way a cherry tree ( or any other type of tree ) should have no growth on it at this time of year.
    Full growth is needed now so the plant can feed itself through it's leaves.
    Have you checked if it's made any root growth yet ?
